Final Game for the Season this Saturday!

Game Saturday!

Cielo Families we are entering our last two games for the season. Games resume tomorrow at the same time as all previous games. The schedule is located under the Game Schedule Fall 2014.

Congratulations to all the teams for participating and playing hard in the tournament. Extra Kudos to Thunderstorm and Argentina for placing 3rd.

Teams Playing in Finals.

Thunderstorm and Argentina will return tomorrow for the finals. Check in time is at 8am for both teams. The games will begin at 9am. Each team will play at least two games.

All the players did an outstanding job today. If you are able, come and support our teams competing tomorrow. Let's go Cielo!!!!

No Game This Saturday, We are in Tournament!

Cielo Families,

There will not be a game this Saturday because we are in tournament. Please visit the tournament tab for the details regarding tournament. In addition, if you have a player in the tournament, please put this phone in your phone 480-382-4242 to text or call to learn if your player's team will be returning. Also, you can check the blog and twitter to determine if you will be returning on Sunday.

Check for your player's parent coach and time of arrival. If you have a player 10 or older, please remember you need to bring documentation to prove your player's age. The details of acceptable forms of documentation is on the tournament tab. If you have any questions, please let me know. !

 Pay weekly or prepay for the entire semester.  • Students may register during the first three weeks. • Registration fee: $9.00, non-refundable.   • Parent/Legal guardian must register student. • Register at class or online.    • Checks/Cash/Money Order accepted (NO debit/credit). • Regular times will be assigned the first night/day. • Parents/friends are encouraged to watch the first and    last class of the semester.*

To: Parents of Young Champions Students in Kyene School District

Dear Parents,
We teach our programs in Kyrene as a vendor for Kyrene Elementary School District Community Education Enrichment Programs. They help us with providing the school facilities to hold our programs, and flyer distribution in the District amongst many other things. Young Champions was recently notified by them that our contract to teach programs in Kyrene has been cancelled immediately which means the future of our programs in Kyrene could be in jeopardy.
If you are happy with our programs in Kyrene, please send us a short email reference by indicating the positive attributes of Young Champions and what positive influences our programs have had on your child. Also, if you enjoy the weekly payment plan and view it as a benefit to you rather than paying for the entire program up-front, please indicate this.
We want to approach our response to Kyrene in a positive way. We intend to present the emails to Kyrene Elementary School District Community Education Enrichment Programs in hopes that your endorsements will convince them to not cancel our contract, and to continue our programs in Kyrene under our vendor agreement for Community Education Enrichment Programs.

Last Soccer Game of the Season

Cielo Families,

This Saturday is the last soccer game of the season. Please arrive early to take photos and be patient after the game. There is a brief ceremony for the players.  In addition, if you are willing to provide snack for the last game, the players will greatly appreciate it.

The photo information has its own tab. Please click if for the photo details. 

If you player has been selected for the East vs. West classic, the information is posted on its own tab. Furthermore, all of Cielo is invited to support the East side. The admission is free for spectators. Time and location is posted on the flyer under the East vs. West Classic tab.

Soccer Time this Saturday!

Cielo Families,

We are still playing our game schedule at the Mesa Education building. Every team will play at the schedule game time except the All Stars.

Calling all ALL STARS.......you are playing at 3:00pm at Burk Elementary in Gilbert. You will play  2 (30-40min) games. We will not be at the Mesa Education building......Only playing in Gilbert this weekend. 

Please remember to bring water and sunscreen. Also, please visit the snack schedule and get in the rotation.

Thunderstorm....................double header today!

Thunderstorm you will play a double header today. The game times are 11 & 12.  There is not an additional charge for both games. The cost is the same. Any questions, please let me know.

Opportunities to practice for players 7-9 years old and some 6 years old

These opportunities are not YCOA sponsored. There will not be practice this Saturday; therefore, players 7-9 may attend these opportunities for practice and 6 years old on Saturday.

The other opportunity is this Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at 855 West 8th Avenue Mesa, AZ 85210 (Where we play our games). This is for 6-9 years old. This scrimmage is speared headed by Bradford Smith.

Desert Cup Tournament Weekend

Cielo Families,

It is tournament time!!!!!!  There will not be any regular scheduled games. However, anyone is allowed to come and support the teams.  Admission and parking is FREE. 

All players will need sunscreen and plenty to drink.  It is a long day with lots of work and play.  Tournament information is located under the tab titled Desert Cup Tournament Roster, Schedule and Information.

The players really enjoy and appreciate snacks after practices and games. Please visit the snack schedule for the available dates and email Tiffany for the date of your choice.

Please remember:

• sign in on the clip board and the envelope
• write the dollar amount in the envelope on the clipboard and the envelope

We are at Kyrene de Mirada this Saturday (Feb. 15th) ONLY.

We are practicing at Mirada because of irrigation at Cielo on Saturday.

In addition, please do not forget to review the snack schedule and email the date you would like to bring snack. You will receive a confirmation email for the date.

Sign Up for Snack Schedule too!

Cielo Families,

We are practicing at our own site ........ Cielo. The team roster and spring schedule has been updated on the blog. In addition, the snack schedule is available for sign up. This season to sign up for snack you will send and email or text for the date you are requesting. You will receive a confirmation email or text confirming your schedule date. This should alleviate the confusion from last season.

The soccer skills challenge is fast approaching. Please visit the skills challenge tab to view the flyer information for this event.

Remember to:

We had a player lose his soccer ball Saturday. If you have found a black and white soccer ball with the name "Nathan" written on it, please email cielosoccer@gmail.com and bring to soccer practice tomorrow. It will be GREATLY appreciated.
